Shortlisting: sorting through all of your applications and choosing the best candidates. After deciding on 3-5 candidates you will send them to the company.

 

How:

1. Choose 3-5 most qualified candidates 

2. Call the company and tell them what to expect. Already set a deadline (approx. one week), until when they have to make a final decision

3. Put the candidates CVs and Motivation Letters into a PDF document 

4. Sum up the candidates in an email

   1. ​Name

   2. Age

   3. Country

   4. Skills (and how they fit to the opportunity)

   5. Other

5. Don't forget to mention the deadline in the email

 

Day of the deadline: Call or mail the company to ask when you are able to expect their decision.

       

In case of no decision: Remind them that interns might be looking for other internships.
